Hi there!

Once a full time teacher teaching ESL and computer technology to adults from all over the world - I'm now retired and enjoying this phase of my life, splitting my time between Panama and Canada, and ready to share my adventures with you.

First a bit about me - everyone calls me Rani, and I was born in the mid-fifties in Punjab, India, and I've been fortunate enough to have lived and brought up my family in Germany, England and Canada. Throughout that time we traveled - that is a bug that I passed on to my kids, and have seen and been exposed to so many cultures, traditions and countries.

Now that both Dave and I've retired, we decided Canadian winters weren't so great for our bones, so we decided to explore retirement in Panama. We fell in love with the people and the country when we first had the opportunity to visit in 2002.

So now we're here, and I know how hard it is for many people to just retire and leave behind a schedule, also decide to move away from family for half a year and learn to enjoy life.  I want to share with you all of the good, the bad and the moments we've had in this retirement journey.

Love and Light,
Rani
