Me!

A little more about me.

Before the adventure began.
Punjab, India
I come from a long line of adventurers. My maternal grandfather (grandma's brother) traveled to Canada, but somehow ended up in Panama in 1905. My grandfather came to Panama in 1930 and worked on the Panama Canal.  Also my grandfather (mum's dad) traveled as far as to trek through Mexico to get into the USA in 1930.

I left India after I got married in 1976 for England, Dave was in the RAF and was stationed in RAF Benson and though I had a degree I wasn't quite ready to take on the English language. As you know things came full circle as I chose to teach ESL as my career. I have two amazing children, both fully grown and settled in their lives now.

My kids will tell you that I am very much in tune with the self-care movement of today, something I have been doing for a very long time. I practice Yoga, Reiki and Meditation daily to stay healthy. I love to cook, and Dave loves to eat, so we are very much into clean eating, but we do indulge as well. I will eat anything, except for creepy crawly seafood, so no lobster, crab or shrimp for me.

When I was teaching, I was lucky to experience food from around the world as we would celebrate the end of the term with a potluck - yum!

Apart from eating all that yummy foods I've been dancing, mainly to Bhangra music, and you can see me in action on my YouTube channel.
