Panama Adventures

We booked our 5 day package tour from Mundo Tours from Panama City.  Copa Airlines flight was only 1 hour to Medellin, and there were about twenty people in our guided tour group.  Medellin is situated in  a beautiful valley with views in all directions. The weather is like spring all year round, and the climate is very comfortable all day and night. It's a small replica of the typical Antioquian town and has some gift shops and restaurants. La Laguna is a beautiful place where you can camp, fish, climb the Cerro Picacho or you can just walk around the lake. It's around 25 kilometers from the Pan-American Highway.  We packed our lunch and started our jouney. Once we got off the highway, we were so excited going through small villages.  We were only a few minutes away from the main road that takes you to La Laguna, we noticed low fuel warning light. Our chances to continue and return to the nearest gas station were slim. So we asked few people in the village, but we were told over and over again to go back to Coronado. Unfortunately, that's what we had to do. T here is a stone road on the right to reach La laguna. Entrance ticket was $1.00 per person.
