Panama Adventures

This winter break trip was special because we wanted to find out about all the Punjabi immigrants who came to Panama to work from 1905 onwards.  We were in the process of making a documentary about Baba Amar Singh Sandhwan. To find more information, I wrote to the Indian Embassy in Panama City, and they suggested that I talk to Rosseta Shahani.  We flew with Sunwing Air, direct flight to Tocumen Airport, Panama City and stayed at RIU Playa Blanca Resort for one week and the other week at RIU Plaza Hotel in Panama city. We met Karanbir Dhaliwal and Sunny Virk, and decided to go to Colon Duty Free Zone and Panama Canal museum.  Jaswant Virk, arranged a meeting to meet Rosseta Shahani. Playa Blanca Beach Resort W e stayed at Playa Blanca Beach Resort, Rio Hato for one week. Our host Jaswant dropped us there, and it was about one hour and 30 minutes drive from Panama City. It's located on a spectacular Pacific Ocean beach, and also has the largest saltwater swimming pool in Central America.
